Heriot-Watt Engineering Design Projects Begin
Safir Innovations has now begun working with two student teams at Heriot-Watt University on engineering design projects exploring wheelchair heating.
This is an important next step in developing the concept from an engineering perspective while I continue working on user evidence, safety, validation and the future route to licensing.

Disabled Entrepreneur UK has published a founder-focused article about Safir Innovations Ltd and the early development of my patent-pending wheelchair heating system.

The Beginning of this Journey
In July 2022, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that changed my life and eventually led to me becoming a full-time wheelchair user.That experience later shaped the lived experience behind Safir Innovations and the wheelchair-heating concept.
